So the 2nd half of the season starts with ANOTHER instalment of the A v B derby & it's another 4-1. Jon starts v Craig & it's a scrappy frame where balls ran 'smelly'. Jon toughs it out despite Craig's resistance & wins 68-14. Cuz plays Soheil in the 2nd & Soheil knocks in some nice pots (debut nerves out of the way now then!) to test Cuz, who responds with a nice win on the colours, 54-41. Tom faces Dave Rowe (who knocked in a 60 in the Club Doubles last night!) & it's a nip & tuck frame. Tom takes the lead, Dave pegs him back...

...& it's 52-40 with the pink & black left after Tom flicked (fluked?) the blue in but sticks the pink up for Dave to clear & snatch a 1 point win, 52-53! After supper it's Cap A v Cap B, Pete v Andy & it's a high quality frame with Andy knocking in a 19 (sublime pink!) to take the lead. Pete pots blue & pink for a 68-41 win (not including 2 fouls, that's an aggregate score of over 100 points!). Anchorman Dave faces Rob in the last & Dave leaves very little & scores well for a 63-7 win & seal the 4-1. Hopefully the Treatment Room will empty soon for you B's!

C Team host Didcot Con & win 4-1! Joey starts v their Captain Bob Higginson who shows his experience in a 23-55 win. Then the fight-back starts with Hugh who plays well & gets a super win, 69-54 v Lee Hughes. Adam's next & plays 'the best I've played all season' with a brown, blue, pink to beat ex-1st Div Phil Organ, 55-43! Alan seals the win with a convincing 59-4 v S Murphy. Jon puts the 'cherry' on with a quality 64-34 win v Wayne Evans! Great stuff & you leap-frog them in the League! How will KP & 'The Shark' Glaves both get back in the squad?
