Phil faces Graham Davies (21) & pulls back the handicap steadily, but can't get to grips with the table to fully assert his authority, scrapping to a 29-68 win. Bakes dusts off his cue v Kev Calkin (21) knocking in a nice 27 break to show he 'still has it' in a 42-66 win. Tom faces a 35 deficit handicap v G Still & battles to the colours before experience gets him the 'W', 49-67. Jon returns to his 'old' table v their Captain, Ryan Cload (21) who keeps him 'honest' right down to the black. Jon clinches it with a trademark solid pot, 71-77. Rowey also faces a 35 handicap & 'toughs it out' to overcome Rob Glenn, 43-72. Well done A's, take a week off... a Bye in next weeks 1st round of the John Evans Cup!

Hugh (14) returns from sunny Spain to face ex-League Singles Runner Up, Paul Robinson (14) & comes off second best, 55-17. Ash (21) plays Mark Andrews (14) & it's a slightly closer frame with Mark winning, 68-33. Cap C (14) faces Michael 'Bish' Bishop (21!?) & Adam makes a fight of it, but in-offs cost him as he goes down, 66-39. Alan (14) is C Team Anchorman v Adam Marsh (21) & sadly that goes the way of the other 4 with a 54-20 win for the home side. Never mind C's, they're a tough side. Take your revenge on Didcot Con at home in the 1st round of the Chairmans Cup next week.
