A Team finish their Premier Division Title Winning League campaign with a 4-1 home win v Crown Technology. Captain bags a brace of 24s beating Andy Harper, 65-11. Tom plays solidly knocking in a 27 break in beating Paul Claydon, 63-17. Jon tries in vain for a League High Break & pots sublime in beating Mark Rowland, 68-7. Anchorman celebrates becoming Over 50s Champion with a 35 break in a 55-11 win v Steve Digby. Cuz rushes from baby-sitting to play 'in-form' & fortunate Anthony Whitton in a nothing frame (which changed nothing!) & loses 15-55. Well done Champions! Next week John Evans Semi Finals... at Harwell! Bring your own torches!

Sadly the C Team sign off their campaign ironically as they started, with a home defeat 0-5. It was v Marlborough B who win the 3rd Division, so no disgrace really! Kev starts with a 14-56 v Terry Harper in the 'Battle of the Committee'. Adam retains Top Percentage Player despite a 17-43 v Dave Bradsman. Alan gives ex-Premier player Stuart Foley a good game, but comes off second best, 39-59. Hugh battles hard v Ken Cooper, but loses 23-68. Eric faces another ex-Premier player, Ade Jackson & suffers an 11-85 score. They'll have to wait for the RAF Benson v Harwell RBL B postponed match to see if they avoid Vic's Wooden Spoon!
