B Team visit Challow C in the Quarter Finals of the John Evans Cup & bow out, 4-1. Craig suffers at the cue of Jason O'Hanlon, 9-59. Rob loses (I don't type that many times this season!) v Steve Hunt, 36-54. Brian goes down 40-56 v Ben Smith. Andy loses 31-58 v Ian Bowman. However, Dave salvages some pride with a 58-26 win v Adam Bruce & attained the 55 points he needed to break the 'Golden 1000'! Dave joins the elite 'club' with Reverend Goldworthy (AKA 'Tusker') of doing it before the end of January! Well done Dave - sorry, no trophy or medal for this one though, just your place in Comrades Snooker folklore secured a bit more!

C Team host Harwell RBL B in the Presidents Cup Quarter Finals & sadly lose the deciding frame, 2-3. Eric is drawn first in his first ever Cup match & faces 'Little' Ollie Mulford who, with experience belying his appearance, wins 20-70. Alan faces J Faulkner & goes down 41-56 on the colours for 0-2! Step up Captain Kev to pull a vital frame back v Dean Russell, 53-17 to start the fight-back. Adam steps up to the mark v I Cooksley & levels the match 2-2 with a 59-29 win! So, Hugh faces John Vaughan Junior in the decider & it ends up being a cliff hanger, decided on the black... sadly in Harwell's favour, 38-43. Unlucky chaps, sterling effort!
