In the last match before Xmas & the 'return' fixture after THAT result, A Team beat B Team 4-1 to start the 2nd half of the season. Aaron gives the A Team the perfect start beating Phai, 66-38. Dave 'Club Singles Champ' (again) Rowe beats Cuz, 55-39 before Tom shows no Xmas Charity v Brian & wins, 60-16. After supper (& Mince Pies!), Nigel plays Rob in the 4th & wins 66-17. Dave plays Andy in the last & wins, 59-24 to put the A Team top & clear by 7 points! Merry Xmas A Team... not too much indulgence now!

With 3 freshly crowned Club Champions in their squad (Congratulations to Brian on the Vets, Rob (& Simon) on the Doubles & Dave for retaining the Singles), I'm sure the B Team were hoping for a better result v the A Team after their last meeting (perhaps the Team (& Rob) were missing Simon?). Dave had a tough frame v Cuz, but the only charity from the A Team was the supper Mince Pies! Merry Xmas B Team. A consolidated push...?

C Team visit Ab Con B & this time actually play all 5 frames! Unfortunately, this time it goes 2-3 against them. Captain KP starts & loses 32-54 before Joey Edwards claims a 2nd win of the campaign, 64-43 to level it. Hugh & Alan both uncharacteristically lose their frames, 30-46 & 13-67 respectively before the C Team 'talisman', Pete Beaumont scraps to a 53-46 win in the last. Good effort C Team. Merry Xmas & another consolidated push 'til the end of the season will reap the rewards!
