In an all Premier clash, the A Team win their John Evans Quarter Final away v Wantage 3-1! Tom gets drawn first & plays a blinder... but gets pipped on the black, 49-52 v Sean Dorrian. Nigel then plays a 'VC's' frame & levels it with a 57-33 win over Matt Todd. Dave beats Phil Hall 55-36 to put the A Team 2-1 up. Cuz does the business in the 'glory leg' & plays a (suitably) tactical frame to secure a 58-32 victory to put the A Team into the Semi Finals (or a 'trousers night' as Cuz calls them!). Well done lads!

B Team bow out of the John Evans at the Quarter Finals stage, losing 1-3 at home to Challow. Simon gets drawn in his usual position of first but loses 22-57 v Chris Rose. Dave Rowe then plays Jason O'Hanlon & must have been still suffering with jet-lag as he goes down 45-53 to put the B 0-2 down. Cue Brian (with his new '100%' cue!) to halt the slide with a 53-40 win over Ian Bowman. Rob comes off second best v Adam Bruce, 28-56 to make Captain's frame a 'dead rubber'. Unlucky lads... if only...
