A Team travel to Abingdon RBL & lose 2-3. Jon starts with an (hour long!) tactical battle to beat Harvey Pearce, 62-14. Tom is in with a shout before Aaron Downey gets some 'rub' to win 35-61. Captain beats Paul Archer, 61-31... but it weren't pretty! Cuz is also in with a shout in a re-match v Duncan Price, but loses 22-71. Anchorman keeps Nigel Archer in his sights up to the blue, losing 45-57. 2 of the (damn) byes now, League & JT Cup Prelim. Back with 2nd A v B on 14th Oct.

Olly makes his season debut v Colin Bark & suffers similarly, 14-69. Craig fights hard v Ian Barnes & loses narrowly, 42-48 - good effort! Brian salvages some B Team pride with a 56-25 win v Richard Belcher. Rob saves the best for last knocking in a 39 in his demolition of Dave Lewis, 68-8.

C Team travel to RAF Benson & go down 1-4. Dave 'The Shark' Glaves starts them well with a 23-51 win v Brian Kettle. Adam suffers v Matt Bird, 23-52. Jon fights hard & has a close one v RAF's new Captain, Simon Perkins losing 45-57. Andy Pickford knocks in a 22 in his 75-20 win over Hugh. Chris Davies beats Alan, 50-19. Come on C, get back to winning ways next week at home to Harwell B. It'll only be 1/4 way point of the season!
