A Team win 4-1 at home to Fawley in round 2 of the Jim Taylor Cup. Cuz gets drawn first & starts us well with a 43-27 win v Simon Mulford. Dave then faces Neil Murphy & it turns out to be a bit early for Anchorman who loses 42-51. Nigel returns from a week 'off' & has a good frame v Vinnie Parsons & wins 69-35. Jon puts us in the QFs with a pink ball frame v Neil Winney. Captain beats Chuck Wilson in the 'dead rubber'. Job done & Challow C away in QFs!

C Team have a fruitless visit to Didcot Con B & go out of the Jim Taylor Cup in round 2. Adam Beasley knocks in a nice 15 but A Hughes wins 47-25. Hugh Baker is beaten by B Hunt, 46-34. There's no birthday present for Colin as Bob Higginson wins 60-34. Alan has a really close frame, but loses on the black, 49-45 v D Aris. Captain Kev salvages some pride with a nice 21 break in a high scoring final frame loss, 49-72 v Wayne Evan. Unlucky lads.
