WCC Club Comp Entry Forms are available now!
As per the Snooker Notice Board, Club Comps are being run early in this our Centenary Year.
Entry Forms are available from behind the bar now. Get your entries in quickly to avoid disappointment.
I'm pretty sure that the Partnered Snooker is the Drawn Pairs(?), so just put your £2.00 on & await your drawn partner.

WCC Centenary Snooker Post #8
Following on from the End of Season Stats for Wallingford A, B, C & D Teams for the D&DB&SL 1988/89 Season (plus the Oxford League Stats for the Wallingford Team playing in that League), this post is the hand-written final league tables for the D&DB&SL also for the 1988/89 Season.
As you can see, Wallingford A Team won the inaugural Premier Division Title, fending off their arch rivals Wantage A by a very healthy 12 points!
Wallingford B were a very respectable 4th in the 12 teams-strong Premier Division.
Wallingford C kept their seat in the First Division, consigning QAD A (ask Vic Hartley!) & Harwell RBL B to the drop to the Second Division.
Wallingford D also had a 4th place finish in the Second Division, sandwiched between Wantage Police A & AERE Police A - far too easy for me to make a comment on that.
Abingdon Con A won the Jim Taylor Cup & Marlborough A won the John Evans Cup.
In Singles & Pairs events, Gerald Francombe won the Singles, Dave Alton & Len Pickett (Wantage A) won the Doubles & as mentioned in WCC Centenary Post #6, young Stuart Mogford secured the Under 23s Title!
Thank you to Phil Hall for supplying me with the copy.
Again, feel free to message me with any contributions of your own which you may have (photographs, newspaper cuttings, etc.) & I'll add them to the feeds.
