A Team travel to Marlborough B & win 0-5. Opening frame is the Captains innings with Terry Harper facing Pete. On a tight, slow table, Pete ekes out a lead & wins, 16-61. Phil plays Andy Patterson & slots in a nice 33 break in another comprehensive 10-67 win. Tom faces Stuart Foley & plays a solid tactical frame, scoring well for a 23-61 win. Cuz plays Dave Bradshaw & despite spirited play from his opponent, again scores well for another win, 33-69. Rowey is last v Ade Jackson & it's the closest frame of the night with Rowey playing some lovely safety & sealing the 'full house' win, 46-60. Same place next week for Marlborough A! | ||||||||||

Marlborough, obviously out for revenge for being taken out of the Cup by the B's last week & with B Team missing Craig, who has moved to Cornwall 'for love' (Good luck Craig!), Andy opens v Craig Harper who wins, 27-58. Soheil deputises for Craig v Matty Burton & has a similar score, slightly closer, 35-53. Brian plays Lee Dickson who has been working on his game & records a 31-60 win to seal the team win. C Team host Crown Technology & win 4-1. Baz starts v Steve Digby & it's a close run frame on the colours, which sadly goes the way of the visitors, 39-51. Alan steps up to level the score v Mark Rowland with one of his now trade-mark demolition score-lines, 46-5. Ash faces Roger Cole & it's a high scoring frame with Ash getting on a roll, backing up his win last week with another, 57-46. Mark returns & plays their Captain, Andy Harper & knocks in a lovely 22 break in a very convincing 59-22 win. Adam saves the drama for the final frame facing Paul Claydon & it goes down to the black which Adam takes, winning 62-57.
