A Team host Abingdon Con A in their penultimate match & win 3-2. 1st frame is Battle of the Champions, Jon (Billiards) v Ben Rowland (Under 23s). It's a tough frame with no quarter asked or given, Ben nipping it after a solid fight back from Hawkinator, 32-57. Phil gets a frame 2 Walk-Over as Ab Con only field 4 players! Tom's 3rd v Dave Lugger who starts superbly racing to a 0-32 lead. Tom fights back needing snookers on the colours, but Dave wins, 30-61. With Abingdon RBL hosting Challow A, our 'spy' reports a 1-2 frame score, meaning the next winning frame for the A Team clinches the Title! Step up Anchorman who faces Richard Belcher. Although Richard slots in some nice pots, Dave is always in control & in the lead, securing a win with the last 3 colours, 59-28. Well done Dave! Congratulations A Team, another successful defence of the Premiership & our 3rd Title on the spin - something not achieved by a team since 2007-08 by Oracle A (though that was their 9th on the trot!).

Alan faces P Davies & it's a closer frame, but Alan also loses on the colours, 29-40. Alan Milton faces another ex-Oracle Premiership player, Rich Saunders & it's 0-3 with a 19-62 score. Step up Adam who knocks in a nice 18 in a 63-39 win v John Vaughan Snr. Kev also limits the damage with a 43-13 win over Graham Davies. All to do in the last 2 matches C's!
