A Team travel to Challow C in the Quarter Finals of the Jim Taylor Cup & win the first 3 frames to progress to the Semis! Jon gets drawn on 1st v Adam Lockhart (one of his old Wantage mates) & starts like he's on fire, knocking in a 27, laying a snooker & then a 19 to lead 50-0 before Adam had a pot! Jon wins 63-22 after not picking up a cue for 3 weeks! Nigel makes it 2-0 winning the 2nd by exactly the same score-line v Ben Smith, playing solid match-play. Tom (gets a free t-shirt!) pots well & wins the 'glory leg' v Ian Bowman, 70-36. Well done A Team, another 'trousers' night booked!

B Team host Harwell RBL A in their Jim Taylor Cup Quarter Final & win 3-1 (4-1 if you count Simon's 'dead rubber'). Rob knocks in a 29 break v Kev Calkin in a trademark heavy score, 70-16. Dave Rowe follows suit with an 80-29 win over John Vaughan Snr. Andy draws the plum in ex-Oracle Simon Saunders who pulls a frame back for Harwell with a nice 35 break, 5-59. Brian secures the B Teams place in the Semis with a resounding 'glory leg' 62-2 hammering of Graham Davies to book their 'trousers' night! Well done B Team.
