Top of the Prem A Team visit Wantage (2nd in the Prem) & lose narrowly, 2-3. Captain starts v Phil Hall & in a typically close edgy frame, wins 40-29. Dave Williams then finally gets one over Nigel, 49-61 before 'Super Sub' Jon 'Hawkinator' scalps his old team-mate Sid, 62-18. Aaron has a close frame v Matt Todd but still can't settle with his new cue, losing 31-41. Dave 'Anchorman' has a battle royal with Sean Dorrian, which is decided on the black, 41-44. Good effort lads keeping damage to a minimum. Take 2 weeks off!

B Team (3rd in the Prem) host Abingdon RBL (2nd in the 1st) & lose, also narrowly, 2-3. Simon loses the opener 44-66 v Harvey Pearce before Dave Rowe redresses the balance 60-46 v Paul Archer. Brian has a battle v Doug Young but makes it 2 in a row (losses) with the new cue, 37-61. Rob is up against it v Aaron Downey & also loses, 32-71. Captain Andy salvages a valuable last point in style, 74-39 v Nigel Archer. Another big match for them next week, away v Abingdon Con A! COYBT!!!
