A Team win 3-2 at home to Marlborough B. Aaron starts (with new cue!), but struggles v Craig Harper & loses, 30-51. Tom then meets Laurence 'Shark' Harvey & also comes off 2nd best, 24-59 for 0-2! Captain rallies the troops with an 81-29 win (including a 26 break) v Martin Harvey to start the fight-back. Cuz faces Steve Wetherall in the 'Battle of Brightwell' & wins 57-36 to level it. Once again, down to the Anchorman who capitalises on some outrageous flukes(!) to seal the win 47-30 v Matty Burton! Phew, that was close!

B Team take their 'miners hats' to Harwell RBL A & it obviously worked as they win 4-1! Simon wins a close frame, 52-41 v Pete Davies but Dave Rowe beats John Vaughan Senior convincingly, 62-10. Brian with his 100% cue, must have taken the old one as he slips up v Olly Mulford, 34-51 to make it 2-1 before Rob seals the match win with a 47-22 v Simon Saunders (ex-Oracle!). Captain Andy makes it 4 with a demolition score-line, 75-32 v Graham Davies. Good away points at a tricky venue!

C Team lose 2-3 at home v Didcot Con B. Captain Kev gets the team off to a flyer with new cue & plays a blinder winning 58-16 v Bob Higginson. Alan Wells follows up with a quality win, 68-41 v a quality opponent, Phil 'Ex-Prem' Organ to put the C 2-0 up! Then its starts to fall apart. Pete 'Talisman' Beaumont comes up against a player on form & loses, 14-55 v L Hughs. Hugh has a 'mare & loses narrowly, 44-54 v D Ayres. Poor Chris Strange battles til the end but loses 35-64 v J Sheppard. Perhaps new cues all round eh, Kev?
