In the Quarter Finals of the Jim Taylor Cup, it's a Wallingford derby match as A face B. Pete faces Simon in the opener & leads from the start & despite a spirited fight from Simon, Captain runs out a winner, 55-17. Next up is Rowey v Soheil & Dave plays solid throughout, leading from the off & makes it 2-0 with a comprehensive 60-8 win. Phil plays Dave Greathead in the 3rd & has his potting boots on, slotting in 29 & 34 breaks in an even more comprehensive win, 86-10 to seal a Semi Final slot for the A Team.

With numerous absentees for the B's (Brian with sore ribs from looking after the Grandkids - dangerous past-time apparently! Andy having to make the long trip to Tenby for a funeral on Thursday. Tony unavailable & Craig not up from Cornwall for a visit until next week), even poor Rob had to 'hop-to-it' (sorry Rob!) with his Imperial Storm Trooper AirCast boot protecting his screwed/plated broken ankle to make up a full squad! His frame v Tom was the closest frame of the night & both slotted in some lovely pots, but neither could break away. Tom eventually sealed it on the colours, 53-40. Cuz gets an early finish as he draws Andy, who thankfully didn't have to turn round from his long journey for a deciding frame!
