A Team travel to Challow & win their League match, 4-1. Phil starts v Ian Bowman & despite a slight last minute 'hitch' with his cue, knocks in a 28 in a convincing 20-54 display of match-play. Captain plays Darrell Stimpson & it's a messy frame with lots of reds on cushions & tied up with colours, but 'toughs it out' for a 40-49 win on the pink. Tom faces Dave Williams & is on the back foot after an early 28 from Dave. Tom responds well taking the last 3 reds with colours, but succumbs 67-42. Nigel (OGS) steps in at the 11th hour & faces Matt Dixey. OGS fights back from 30 behind to win, again on the pink, 36-54! Anchorman faces Adam Bruce & the extensive Physiotherapy seems to be working as the A Team 'Old Boy' runs out a winner, 57-24! Same result (or better!) next week please when we face them at home in the re-arranged Cup match.

B Team host Abingdon RBL in the League & lose, 2-3. Simon starts v Captain Harvey & it's a high scoring frame which Simon loses narrowly, 59-69. Dave faces his old 'foe' Aaron & again, it's a high aggregate score with DR running out a 63-38 winner (no 60+ though as it wasn't Doubles!). Craig faces Nigel Archer & fights to a 30-65 loss. Rob is pitted against Duncan Price & again it's a close frame with Duncan pinching it, 42-52. Andy salvages a valuable point in the last frame with a 47-37 win v Doug Young.
