A Team lose 2-3 away v Abingdon RBL. Captain loses to Captain, Harvey Pearce in an hour long(!) opener, 21-52. Nigel plays superb v Aaron Downey for a 58-42 win to level it 1-1. Tom misses a few middle pocket shots & loses to Paul Archer, 32-51. Jon comes up against another Archer, Nigel who knocks in a 28 break off a plant for a 35-74 loss for 1-3 before Cuz enjoys a win v Doug Young on his old Oxford League 'home' table, 60-24. Not too disastrous!

B Team also go down 2-3 at home v Ab Con A. Olly loses narrowly in the opener, 32-43 v Richard Belcher before (stop the press!), Mr 100%, Dave Rowe loses 44-59 v Dave Lewis (who I gather was a bit 'lucky'?). Ian Barnes makes it 0-3 beating Brian Orton, 15-51 before the Cavalry arrive in the form of Rob House who beat G Southbank(?), 60-9 & Andy beat Colin Bark by a similar margin, 55-8.  Good salvage job! You should still be (at worst, joint) top!

C Team travel to Didcot Con B for no reward, 0-5 loss! Alan starts & loses on the blue, 17-36 v Bob Higginson. Ben makes a nice 17 break in a high scoring close frame, but loses 46-57 v Ryan Cload. Hugh loses 23-56 v Lee Hughs & Colin 'The Talisman' loses 26-52 v Dave Aries. Adam also has a high scoring frame, but narrowly loses... on a fluked black(!), 48-53 v Wayne Evans! Keep the faith lads, Lady Luck's gotta turn round for you soon!
